神愛怪人

Recently, one of my colleagues W needed to have an operation and
took sick leave for nearly three weeks.
W kept it in low profile and didn't want to talk about it,
but she told me she was extremely worried.

W, an overreacted guy with pet phrase 'ha?',
joined CU earlier than me for one month.
Graduated in HKU in late 80's or early 90's (I guess),
she worked as a reporter in international desk
and then got married and quit her job.
However, she seemed not the type of elite.
At least I thought I was better than her in
interpersonal skill as well as interview skill.

For instance, when the colleagues are not available and
she picked up the phone for them,
she would only answer '唔o係度', '唔知o番',
and no further responses such as ask him/her to leave a message
or ask whether we could lend a helping hand..
Far from passionate, energetic and enthusiastic,
W is timid, afraid of getting involved in trouble,
and unwilling to take responsibility.

However, for the Bible said no one should be
barred from the love of Jesus.
Although I thought she was unlovable and unpleasant,
I bought her a little book of bible verses
to comfort her in her difficult time.

She expressed her gratitude for the timely support
but she said she can't believe coz
there was much worries inside and can't count on anyone.

Like the saying goes'put a cart before the horse.'
What a strange person is!
But I still firmly believe that Jesus loves her.
